How reviews work

Only real, completed deals
You can only review someone you dealt with on WildWork: a booking the provider marked as completed, a work exchange stay that is completed or past its end date, or a job application that ended in a hire.
There are no free-form reviews on profiles. Every review shows where it comes from, for example "Verified review: from a completed booking". We check this link automatically; we do not check what the review says.
Both sides, at the same time
When a deal ends, both sides have 14 days to review each other, once. Reviews stay hidden until both have written, or until the 14 days are over, so nobody can answer a review with a review. Reviews of a hire are always published when the 14 days are over.
Until it is published you can still edit your review. After that it cannot be changed; the person reviewed can post one public answer.
What is public
Reviews of providers, clients, hosts, guests and employers are public, with the average shown separately for each role.
A company's rating of a person it hired is never public: only the members of that company can read it. Candidates rate the hiring process publicly, on the company page.
Ranking
Search results may use the average rating only for profiles and services with at least 3 published reviews; below that the rating is not used.
Reporting and removal
Every review has a Report action. We remove a review only when it breaks our rules (for example insults, personal data, spam or content unrelated to the deal), and we tell the author why. A negative opinion alone is not a reason to remove a review.
